Our approach to alterations, adjustments, and refunds for tailoring services.

This Return Policy outlines how Thodsmryxhrex handles adjustments, refunds, and returns for tailoring, alteration, and repair services. Our priority is delivering quality workmanship and supporting satisfied clients.

1. Alterations and Repairs

Satisfaction Guarantee: Notify us within seven days of collection or delivery if you are not satisfied with our work.

Adjustments: One complimentary adjustment related to the original work is available within 14 days, provided measurements have not changed.

Additional Alterations: Further alterations beyond the complimentary adjustment are charged at standard rates.

2. Custom Tailoring

Fittings: Custom garments include multiple fittings. Attendance at scheduled fittings ensures the desired fit.

Adjustments: Minor refinements after final delivery are complimentary within 30 days, provided body measurements remain consistent.

Major Revisions: Substantial design changes or significant alterations after final fitting incur additional charges.

3. Deposits and Cancellations

Deposits: Deposits for bespoke or extensive alteration projects become non-refundable once work begins.

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Cancellations before work or material purchases may be refunded at our discretion less a 15% administrative fee.
  • Cancellations after work starts or materials are purchased are non-refundable.

4. Refunds

Eligibility: Refunds may be considered when services are not delivered to a reasonable professional standard or if our work significantly damages a garment.

Process: Return the garment within seven days, provide proof of purchase, and describe the issue.

Assessment: We assess the garment to determine whether a refund, partial refund, or further alterations are appropriate.

Payment Method: Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method when available, otherwise a store credit is issued.

5. Uncollected Garments

Collection Period: Collect completed garments within 30 days of the notified completion date.

Storage Fees: A $5 NZD weekly storage fee may apply after 30 days.

Abandoned Items: Garments uncollected after 90 days may be donated or disposed of; no refund is provided.

6. Damage Liability

Pre-existing Conditions: We are not liable for issues caused by fabric weaknesses, colour fastness, shrinkage, previous alterations, or age-related wear.

Maximum Liability: If damage is directly attributable to our services, liability is limited to the lesser of repair or replacement cost, market value at the time of service, or three times the service fee.

7. Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in this policy limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand consumer legislation.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes apply immediately upon posting, and continued use of our services signifies acceptance.
